Well, she’s done it again. My all time favorite athlete Serena Williams came from behind this time to take the Women’s singles title at the U.S. Open. We were able to watch the first couple of sets but headed to the lake after the third started.
I’ll admit. Her dropping of the second set was unnerving for me. It’s not in me to watch her lose. I’ll find some tape of her coming back to win but just knowing she fought her way back is plenty fine with me.
She’s awesome. Nuff said.
Remember these guys? Other than Miss Piggy slutting it up for Kermit, they were the best part of The Muppet Show. Even though I was a little too old to be watching this stuff (so my parents thought) I would spend the entire half hour hoping these two would pop in. So, I guess sarcasm was instilled early in my mind as funny.
Which is why all this political trolling on the internet these days is funny to me. Bigg and I were talking about it last night and he made a good point I hadn’t thought of. These candidates? The ones you (errrr, trolls rather) are staunchly defending (to the death it seems)? They don’t give a shit about you. At all. Oh sure, either one can come to your hometown and tell you that they your little space in the world is all they think about as they pick up die hard followers along the way. But they don’t care. At all. Sorry.
Why do you follow people, people? Follow ideas. Ideals. Values (or lack of if that’s your thing.) Think of your strength training. Do you follow a certain person or a training method? The Trolls on the strength side of life are equally humorous to me. People seriously spend hours getting other people they don’t know pissed off because it’s fun? Huh.
Anyways, we’re only at the beginning of this political trolling fun and I’ve just missed some so I need to catch up.
By the way? Obama sucks and Romney is a liar.
